Ten Haaf Projects is pleased to announce “Supper Season”, an exhibition by Peer
Vink and Katharina Busl. The two artists met during their residency at Kunsthal
Kloof in Utrecht in 2024 and began to create art together. During that period,
they inspired each other and felt that their collaboration needed another level of
depth and intensity.

For the past months they have been working on a large site-specific installation,
which is now shown in the gallery. The centrepiece of this installation is a
fountain with water, surrounded by large sculptural windows constructed from
metal and 3D-printed plastic objects. These windows and the fountain, along
with the sound of rippling water, give the space a spiritual atmosphere. It is
almost like entering a new kind of religious temple, or a place for rituals and
sacrifice. The space is inviting but, at the same time, evokes an eerie sensation.
The sculptural objects contain patterns and scribbles, somehow familiar but also
foreign. It all feels ancient yet futuristic, as if witnessing a “new religion”.

Katharina Busl, born in 1994 in Munich, Germany, studied at the HKU Utrecht,
where she graduated in 2024. Though her work, she examines how virtual and
material reality intertwine. In this day and age, when information and the
perception of reality is so crucial; she explores the effect it has on everything
around us. By confronting the public, she likes to invite everyone to speculate
and redefine reality.
